This pin was inspired by Deana Hartman's ameoba art.  I've been admiring her art for a couple of years now. I finally created something in her style.  I found this to be a very meditative way to "art".  I'll most likely be doing more of this, but probably in a bit different style.  My own style.

  • This is very cool and beautiful!

So it was you who commented on my knitting blog! Yah, I reknitted the hat. Pictures to come!

  • This is soooo beautiful! I love it! :goodjob:

Thanks for your comment on my postcard. Yeah, I don't think fiber art translates well through photos. Probably no art does. Imagine the painter who works all the texture into her paintings only to have that all disappear when she photographs it.

  • Thanks for visiting! I am not familiar with bead stew -- is it like paint with beads in it?

  • Beautiful! Those colors really do make me think of the sunset.

  • I almost deleted the invitation, until I saw and recognized your profile pic. Have you figured out the use of the new friend count?

  • ryn: that book has been out since October. I bought the English version on San Diego airport last year, but I had trouble reading the gealic parts, so now that's it been released in Dutch, I'm reading that one. I've read them all and it has become one of my favorite stories.

  • hope you don't mind me subbing- I've intended to for a long time now. :) Gorgeous pieces there.

  • oooooooooohhhhh, pretty!

  • That is a beautiful pin!  I was surprised to read the size. Photos can be so deceptive.  What about the dragonfly?  Is that a found piece or also stitched & beaded?

  • You answered my questions.  Thank you!  I thought that the piece was larger, so I was surprised that it was fairly small.
