  • Oh thanks, finally an explanation.

I don't like my new feedback log with its new thingies. I'm guess I'm too old for this! lol

  • thanks for your comments on my site re: history books... I've seriously thought about doing some children's/young adult books... but I haven't thought it all through. As my son is only 8 years old, it's still hard for me to think past that age - ha!! But more and more I am becoming aware of what historical writing is out there for kids of all ages and would love to fill a need!

  • p.s. you do know I was talking about your comments on my drtiff site, right?? :0

also, for your daughter, check out resources for girls at the National Women's History Project - they have some FABULOUS books, etc. in their catalog - http://www.nwhp.org

  • I'm copying the link. I'm getting too many questions about the new features. Why didn't they just announce it on the freaking frontpage!?

  • :sunny:Thanks for stopping by my site:) I agree it is far from the traditional "Chicken Little" but my 3 and a half year old loves the outer space stuff and the songs are fun to groove to. My kids aren't real fussy about what they watch. They are media addicts all the way. I really have to keep them in check a lot! I love and prefer them to watch movies over T.V.

  • Don't worry. I'm not wallowing (lol, funny word, never used it before) in it. It's now the morning after and I feel normal and even a bit pleased about the outcome of yesterday's interview.

  • Yeah, I'm too old for that, too. But one of my 20-some readers invited me to be his friend and I was unreasonably flattered. Maybe we old xangans could learn to use this -- we can't go to facebook, after old, because old people on facebook (like, over 25) are assumed to be stalkers.

  • So that's what it's all about! neat!

RYC: I'm sure she'd be thrilled with the link to the JIP on your site! it looks great! Thanks!
    (-:

And yay that it came to you at the right time! (-:

  • cool on the reciprocating :sunny: going to browse around now. :)

  • ryc: the room is HUGE - 12x16 - so the dark brown works. Actually, I originally picked a darker color, but my husband talked me down :) It's called "New Chestnut" by Behr.
I knew I'd get a lot of natural light, so I wanted to cozy the room up a bit. I have to say, though, that I kind of hyperventilated about the color when he first put it up... but now with it all finished and the furniture in, it feels good. Oh, and definitely kept the ceiling a light color to reduce the "cave" feeling!
