Summertime bizzyness
I hate how busy I have felt lately! Well, not really hate it, but I wish for more personal time. Summer will be over too soon and then I'll have more time to myself and will miss my girls terribly. Why can't there ever be a balance?????????
Stormy and I have been reading Warriors! We LOVE it! I highly recommend it. Clans. Cats. Warriors. Queens. Morals. Love. Hate. What more could you ask for? The writers also have a pretty cool website that I can't seem to keep Stormy off of right now!! There are 6 books in the 1st series and so far I think at least 5 books in the second series; Warriors: The New Prophecy. Love it!!
At some point I'll post some pictures. I'm currently exploring storage options. I am considering purchasing an external hard drive and use it exclusively for my photos and photo software. But that doesn't exactly solve the storage problem. It will help though!! What do you use for storage?

I'm currently wondering about photo storage, too. It's taking up a lot of space and I need to do some clearing. The only thing I can think of right now is putting them on discs, and using Flickr online.
I use a 250 gig external hard drive.
And I hear you on the need for some personal time -- seems I don't get much of that these days, but if I wasn't with my daughter all day, I'd miss her horribly as well. If anyone figures out the magic balance, I want their secret!
I've never tried one of those hosting sites. I always simply upload to xanga and never have any issues, except when they are messing about with the servers of course.

So far for photos, I keep 'em kind of small. (-: My dear husband also backs them up on an extra hard drive, too...not exactly saving space, but keeping them safe..
Hope the rest of the summer is a bit slower, a bit lazy and hazy! (-:

OH HEY!! A-man and I are reading it too! Just last night he was saying how much he loves this book! - that's a first for him... we already got the second one ready to read. Have to check out the site and show him.

As for photo storage, I have an external hard drive, I burn a CD of originals and store that away.. and I have a dvd burner to burn what's on my external for final storage...

fantastic book, but my voice is hoarse from doing so many voices!:laugh: We are on to book 2 now, where are you guys at?!
ryc- With ringneck doves, the male and female take turns sitting on the nest and feeding the squabs. Sometimes they both sit there.
My daughter has been reading the G'hoole series on her own. The Warriors is great outloud, I love doing voices but ... there are so many characters in Warriors that it's a challenge!
I hope you will be able to find some time to enjoy your photo challenge. it could be next week already!
